The International Workshop on Teamwork (IWOT), the European Workplace Innovation Network (EUWIN), and the Global Socio-Technical Systems-Design Network (Global STSD Network) are delighted to present the 2015 Festival of Connecting.
The Festival connects policy-makers, practitioners and researchers working towards better places to work, and places that work better.
The Festival of Connecting will take place in two different venues:
Getting to Leuven from Brussels Airport (BRU – Zaventem)
The airport has its own train station (Brussels National Airport), with direct trains to Leuven. The station is underneath the airport and is accessed via lifts and escalators in the arrivals hall. You can check the timetables and book tickets for the train on website of the national railway company of Belgium.
Leuven is located approximately 20 minutes’ drive from the Belgian National Airport Zaventem (Brussels Airport - BRU). A taxi ride from the airport to the Irish College or the Brabanthal costs approximately 50 EUR,-.
Getting to the Irish College (IWOT & Global STSD Network)
Leuven is easy to reach by train from all Belgian and European cities. The station is very close to the town centre. Leuven is a 20-minute train ride from Brussels, 50 minutes from Antwerp, 30 minutes from Liège and 1.5 hours from the Belgian coast. Please check the timetables website of the national railway company of Belgium between the train station closest to your place of departure and ‘Leuven’. There are taxis at the train station of Leuven, or you can simply walk. It is only a 20 minutes' walk from the train station to the Irish College.
